Sep 24, 2018 Kings Island is more than just roller coasters and thrills. There is something for everyone to enjoy, even the non-riders. With a water park, low thrill rides, shows and more, the whole family is going to have the best day ever.
I think I definitely had a different start to the week than most. I had the chance to help with a behind the scenes tour of The Beast for some roller coaster enthusiasts from the Netherlands and Belgium. It never ceases to amaze me how something like a passion for roller coasters can bring people together.
This next candle scent just came to me and now I wish more than ever that Kings Island did have a candle collection. Get ready, this one is good. Imagine a purple/blue-ish candle with the fresh smell of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. “Banshee Berries” would be a hit! That’s an all season kind of candle. Obviously the inspiration and name comes from Banshee Berries, which used to be over in Action Zone, and was serving things such as, you guessed it, fresh berries with whipped cream, YUM!
This is beyond off topic, but you know what is super relaxing? Peeling hard boiled eggs. My fiancé Eric and I recently got an egg maker as a gift at one of our wedding showers and I’m not sure how I’ve survived without it. You can hard boil, poach, make omelets and more with this thing. I also love deviled eggs, so much so that Eric and I have definitely made deviled eggs for dinner and that’s it. They’ve turned into a comfort food for me and there is nothing better than peeling hard boiled eggs. It’s an odd satisfying feeling with you peel it without messing up. If you think that’s weird, I also find it relaxing to watch videos of people cutting kinetic sand and videos of people doing calligraphy. ALSO an amazing app to get on your phones if you love coloring is Happy Color, I color every single night while I’m watching Stranger Things and it is something that I look forward to every night.
Does anyone remember Rollercoaster Tycoon? I remember having that game as well as Zoo Tycoon and I could honestly play for hours. Wow, I just looked into it and Rollercoaster Tycoon World (fourth installment) just came out in 2016. Comment down below if you remember or played these games when you were younger! How cool would it be to try to make Kings Island on the game? When I first got the game, I remember I struggled with making roller coasters because all I wanted to do was build the track up, up, up and it was not happening. One fun thing that I would always do on Zoo Tycoon is whenever I got bored, I would remove all the cages and let the animals run free with the guests. What? Nobody enjoys being in a cage, sometimes you need to stretch your legs. Also I’m pretty sure there was a version of Zoo Tycoon that included dinosaurs and marine animals? Also I’m pretty sure there’s a Rollercoaster Tycoon app for your phone. (Inspires oneself to go out and buy both games and play them nonstop for weeks)
A major announcement is happening on August 15! I’m super excited about it because guess what? I know as much as the rest of you do, probably less actually. But there is another announcement coming soon as well. No worries, it’s not about the park.
Is that it? That’s it for now and I’ll catch you on the next one!
