Katie's World already has a lot going for it. It has a boat ride with swans, a Go-Kart track, a railroad, a swinging ship, and three roller coasters (one of which is completely underground, giving thrill seekers a ride to flock to when it rains). However, the park has no shops and stalls, is very understaffed, and rains frequently. The park value sits a little over $8,500 and the goal is to raise it to $15,000.

First thing's first is to give the park more staff. Hire three more mechanics and have them patrol around two or three rides. Be warned that a couple of them will be spread pretty thin, so it's recommended to build new rides within their patrol routes so you can rearrange their patrols better. Furthermore, since the exit path of the underground roller coaster is also underground, you'll have to carefully place your patrol area on the ground where the path is below as well as the exit gate or the mechanic will never reach it. Get some janitors as well and make sure to have one situated near The Storm. When the park begins, you can see there's already a mess of puke to deal with at The Storm's exit. Finally, an entertainer at Runaway Plumber's queue is recommended since the line is very long and not easy to edit.

You only get three shops and stalls to start with and no drink stall, so place the stalls at an appropriate, easy-to-reach area and then set your research to maximum with only Shops & Stalls checkmarked so you can get the Drink Stall quickly. Place more trash cans around the area to deal with the impending waste. Once the Drink Stall is discovered, you can then switch to Roller Coasters to get the Steel Roller Coaster or research Thrill Rides to get more rainproof rides like the Motion Simulator.

Speaking of rides, you'll notice that many of the prices are far lower than they should be, especially the roller coasters. Fix that immediately so you can rise out of debt and not rely on loans. Runaway Plumber can be charged up to $5.00, Forest Flyer can go up to $4.80, Richard's Wreckers should be around $4.00, and Katherine's Cruisers should be at least $2.00. The Storm can be raised a little but $5.00 is plenty and it's already a couple of years old, which will affect its value. If you wish to avoid crashing, you can readjust The Storm so it only has a single train. Runaway Plumber's trains thankfully don't go fast enough to crash at the station. Don't forget to give 10 minute inspection times to all the roller coasters since their reliability is already lower than 85% at the start.

Runaway Plumber, a fully underground roller coaster.

As for new rides, the frequent rain makes the Merry-Go-Round a must have. Haunted Houses also help but their novelty wears out quickly, so replace it as soon as people don't want to enter it unless the admission price is at 50 cents. As mentioned before, you can research Thrill Rides until you get the Motion Simulator or research Gentle Rides to get the Observation Tower and Bumper Cars. If you really have the funds, you can expand toward the area inside The Storm as well as the lake nearby Richard's Wreckers. However, at $90 per square, it's an expensive investment; only purchase more land if you're desperate for room.

World

As always, since this is a park value scenario, building a gigantic roller coaster will make reaching the goal far easier. There's plenty of space in the forest area where the Go-Kart track is located as well as the empty area to the right of Runaway Plumber. You can also utilize the construction rights above Runaway Plumber, but since the trees can't be chopped down, it will be difficult to weave around them. You can replace rides and shops that are old at the last minute with new ones if the value is still a little too low.
