The RollerCoaster Tycoon games have several cheats and quirks. Most of these can be exploited by the player to give them an unfair advantage in gameplay. In all RollerCoaster Tycoon games, cheat codes are activated by renaming a guest/peep to a specific name. The effects will take place once the name is entered. This is done by clicking on the nametag icon in the Guest's window. When ever you get an objective that says you need 10 different rollercoaster in your park, you probably won't have a time limit. If you don't want your guests in your park, then just simply delete.

Hire Einstein
To extend your research by leaps and bounds, find Guest #1 and rename him “E=MC2”. Then find guest #2 and rename him “E=MC3”. The two will meet and begin brainstorming. Shortly thereafter they will ask to be hired on as the park’s research developers. Say “yes” and pour your resources into the think tank. The following year, research and development will have grown by leaps and bounds. You will have all of the latest rides and nearly a billion dollars to spend!

Free money:
Go to the Finances by pressing “F”, then press ENTER + “M” for $5,000. This can only be done once a month for unlimited amount of cash.

Receive A One Million Dollar Gift
To get lots of money for your park, close it down for one full year! Afterwards, a man dressed in a blue suit and holding a clipboard will give you a little “helpful money” ($1,000,000).

Cheap Coaster:
To make a popular, money making coaster for around $2,000 dollars, listen to this. Choose the steel mini coaster, not the steel looping coaster. Build the coaster until it says too high for supports. Then make a steep drop all the way down. Then, brakes at 9MPH, and make 2 small curves to end it. Make a big waiting line. This will get you lots of money, higher your park raiting, and all for a small amount of money.

Get More Guests:
Build a steel roller coaster (shuttle loop), then build the exit path through the loop. This will attract more guests.

Happy Guest:
To make lots of guests happy make a shuttle loop and then add onto it. Make a huge queue line and charge 3 bucks. It’s a short ride and you’ll usually get up to 100 guest in line and they wont get mad because the line moves quickly.

FoodCourts:
Build all of your food courts in 1 place, that way guests don’t have to walk all around the park to get what they want.

Unlock Mega Park:
Finish all levels to unlock the Mega Park.

Prevent guests from getting sick:
Hold one of the mouse buttons and the ride will slow down, preventing guests from getting sick.

Get More guests:
Click on the “Park info” icon and set the admission fee to $20.00. Then, go to “Financial Information”, click on “Advertisements” and start a marketing campaign for free park entry for four weeks. Watch your guest rates, however results may vary.

Keeping guests happy:
A clean park is a happy park.

Clapping guests:
Before you complete a mission go to a location that has a lot of guests. When the mission is over they will all start to clap.

Build underground:
Raise or lower land with the shovel. Then, go to the eye at the top of the screen. You should be able to see and build underground.

Keep ride’s popularity:
To keep a scary ride’s popularity, delete a segment of track and replace it with the same item. The guests will be fooled into thinking that the ride has been improved and will continue going to it.

See through bathrooms:
Build a bathroom and when someone enters click on the eye on top and choose “See Though Rides”.

Build on high places:
When the message “Too high for supports” appears, just raise the land where you want to build.

Better shop and stall placement:
Put shops and stalls near the rear of the park, not at the entrance. Once tired and hungry guests have walked all the way to the back, they will be more than willing to pay higher prices for snacks.
If you click on the fence you will return to the entrance with the Park Information.

Easy Money:
CLick on the raise or lower land button and make the land high and low and high and low again and keep doing this until you run out of money then after a while you will have unlimited money and all of the parks will be unlocked and you can go to the mega park!

Build a cheap ride and make a huge queing line. make the ride free-.20 until it fills up. then, change the fee to $10-$20. everyone in line will have to pay since they cant get out of line (unless they don’t have enough money)

Faster research:
Go to research and look under funding. There will be a lot of items check-marked, such as Shop and Stalls, Roller Coasters, etc. Go to maximum funding and choose only one item to check-mark to get faster research.

Cleaning paths:
Simply place a new pathway over a dirty path to quickly clean it.

To quickly clean your park without using more money to replace the path that is dirty, select one of your handymen. Even though it might not be as fast as just replacing the path, drop them wherever there are empty cans and vomit piles. This also works for emptying the garbage.

Increase park rating:
Set your research to just roller coasters until you receive a steel or inverted steel coaster. Build a lot of power launched mode roller coasters( such as the Shuttle Loop). This should increase your park rating and guest numbers.

If you set the advertisements all at four weeks your money, park rating, and guests will all increase.

Make a real good park:
put lots of short go karts and lots of shuttle loop steel roller coasters put the steel shuttle loop at $1.50 – $2
and put the go karts at $1 – $1.70 depending on how long the go kart track is.

Lots of Ride Passengers:
To get alot of people to go on a ride put the charge to .20cents. I did this with a merry-go-round. Next make sure you use a queing line (the blue one) and make it really long. Your guests will flock to the ride and fill up your queing line.

Keep Guests in Park:
Make a massively long line for some popular ride. Then lower the price to $0.20 and wait until the whole line is full (something like 100 guests). Then wait until the ride breaks down and do not hire any mechanics afterwards. This will keep the guests standing in line forever. hahaha.

Go-Karts:
Yeah, this is useful. When you get the go karts as a ride build a custom go kart, then build the track like so: click on a wide land area and do the following, station platform(x4), right turn(x2),up track, straight track, down track, left turn(x2). open the ride at 3 bucks and put the number of laps at 10 and this will make the excitement rating soar for such a tiny ride. low cost easy to build and will never be unpopular, this little giant is the ultimate ride.

Glitches

Pop balloons:
When someone releases a balloon, click on it to pop it.
Sell lots of balloons at a really low price. When you complete the mission you can pop a large number of balloons.

Balloon display:
If you accomplish the mission on the level that you are on, and if you have a balloon stall, when your guests clap they will all drop their balloons and have to buy another one.

Happy Therapy:
If you want happy guests, build a small island surrounded by water or with a fence. Build a bathroom, drink stall and food stall. (Overprice them all for extra money) Then place like 3 entertainers there. Roam around the park looking for angry guests and carry them to the island. Drop them there and forget about them for some (game, not real) days. Rescue them later and put them on firm land, but only if the have a wide smile on their faces. Ta DA! Instant Happiness.
P.S. If after a month, they’re unhappy, drown them… it relieves stress.

Display the date:
Move the pointer to where the month is shown, above the weather. Hold the mouse there until the date appears.

Mowing the Lawn:
Instead of having your handyman mow your grass, all you have to do is click on the shovel..make the land area for it bigger and just click! Make sure you dont drag up or down, or your raising or lowering your land. P.S. do get your handyman not to mow..click on the hand on his window and unclick mow grass. and tada. no more working on grass for him.

Ballon Money:
Deprive people of their balloons by putting them in water. Them put them in front of the balloon stall and they will usually buy another balloon.

When you start your park put your entrance price to zero. When you build a ride run the test option then go to the test results (stop watch). What ever number is the highest like the excitement level. Whatever is the highest you make that the price of the ride as long as the entrance price is zero they will pay it.

Are you in debt on the game? Are you scared that you're gonna be in it and wont be able to get out? Then you'll be able to quit saying 'yes' to those questions.
A park with a good value and rating doesn't use any loans. But if you have loans that you don't have enough money to pay off, then Ill help you. First, change your funding to 'No Funding' (red experiment bottle, coin, drop-down menu). Then keep your workers at a low level since it costs money to pay them. Have up to 5 handymen (don't let any mow the lawn. Use the largest in the shovel thing, but don't raise land), 3 mechanics, and 3 security guards. You don't need any entertainers because they don't usually help me. Next, go through all your rides, go to the money, look at your profit and make sure you're not losing any money. (if you are, look at the rides thoughts, if they say '. Is a really good value' then raise the price to the next. 50 and check on the thoughts frequently, if it says, 'Im not paying that much to go on. ' then lower the price to the next. 50 and frequently check on the thoughts)
You must have at least $4000 in money. Then bring the loans down until you have $1000 and keep doing that. You should be out of debt in no time.

To stop your roller coasters from blowing upsometimes when they are pulling into the stationplatform, put brake pads as the last piece infront of the station platform that slow theroller coaster down to 4mph. This will preventstation brakes failure.

Make a shuttle loop. Make sure it is fast enough to lift off the track. When people get on it will go so fast it will lift off the track and burst into flames. WARNING! This will kill the guests.

First build a train. When your building thetrain make sure!!! you build two stations. Whenyou are done building the train go to one of thestations. Check if the is someone waiting inline. If there is click on him. Now put his statbox which you got from click on him in thecorner. Now click on the entrance to the train.When you do that it should show a stoplight anda picture of the station. Move that a little tothe side which now let you see him waiting inline. Now start pressing the green, yellow, andred buttons on the stoplight. Keep clicking onthem untill you see the person disapeer. Thenlook at the persons stat box. If done correctlyyou should see the guy at the other trainstation walking away. This will make the guy alittle unhappy but you could just name himmelanie warn to make him happy.

Go and build boat hire. Do not build any tracks. When people are on it raise the water so it turn into land, they will be floating on land.

To get lots of money fast, build 2 or morecoasters next to each other that can do loops.Build 4 station platforms, then make the rest ofthe track nothing but a powered launch into loopor 2 then return.It's short fast, and are alwayspopular for me. Charge 3 to 4 dollars percoaster like this, and rack up the money. Goodluck, and get lots of money!

Click on a person. It works with any body. ThenClick on the little claw in the right hand cornerof the screen. Now Click right on your mouse andhold it in while you move where ever you want to.

Put a mechanic at the exit of each ride. Set hispatrol area to only that exit so when that ridebreaks down they will be there.

ONLY... get a loan if you have less than $800.Otherwise your park rating will be bad. Pay offyour loan once you have $4000. This soundsrediculous, but it helps from all those noticesthat say you don't have enough money to buildanything. ALSO... one thing that helps to builda good park... make everything in your parkfree. than add up the previous costs of therides that you just made free. Then divide thatsum of prices by the number of rides you had.You will get an average. REMEMBER... at thispoint, all rides and attractions are free. Addthe average answer that you got to your parkentrance fee. This will be a reasonable andattractive price for park entry.

To stop guests from leaving your park just put a do not enter sign at the entrance so guests can come in but can't get out! NOTE: You must have at least one expansion packor you won't have the sign.

This is just for fun. You make a que line in a square that has four boxes so it is closed off. Then you find a person(mad works best)and pick him up with the pinchers and drop him in there (notice how they're all guys).Then you wait for a while and he'll either get really mad and his face will turn red or get really tired. It doesn't always make the face turn red. What you could do to add to this is if he is really hungryor thirsty you could put a drink or food stand next to him and raise the price high. Make sure he has that much money. And don't make it to high cause he won't pay for it!

If you what a ride which is popular, makes moneyand will make guest ride over and over.Build the Steel Roller Coaster, Shuttle Loop in abig space. Than build another one, But build theloop the other way. The rides should start nextto each other and at the loop they go differentways (with 2 spaces between). Than build a pathwith bench's on, build it thought the loop's.have a price of £1.50 and have the rides run atthe same time (use the bottom button on theoperation options).Try to do the same with rides that have loops andhave power launch mode (put if on 40 and the samehigh.

If you don't have any underground paths, you needthem to make this hint work. People are walkingon the paths. Then, delete the square piece ofpath under them. They will fall and fall andfall. You will see the number of people in yourpark go down significantly. This is way fasterthan drowning them, and you don't have thanannoying thing at the bottom say 'Guest ---- HasDrown.

To get your altitude higher on rides, raise the land under the supports you want to raise, because the supports are to high, this will make them higher. Note: this also adds negative g's and makes the ride scarier.

This cheat is only for fun and does nothing for your park. If you want to make guests fly then you have to tap the pick up button repeatedly and very fast. If you do it correctly your guest will start rising from the path but beware as soon as you stop pressing the button the guest will start falling.

Enter Richard Tan as a guest name and have them walk around pick pocketing other guests.Enter Micheal Schumacher and have him walk around making other guests rich.

Click on the button that raises or lowers theground level. Put it on the largest setting andclick on the tall grass once and the grass willdissapear.

If you crash a ride you DON'T need to delete theride you know that little traffic light on thecoaster page press the red light twice and thenpress the green light once and your ride will beas good as new.

Pick up a guest(or Staff members) and place them into a pool of water and they will drown.

Put in a ride that attracts alot of guest.(mostly good rollercoasters.) Have a long quireline and have it reeally cheap. After alot ofpeople are in line raise it up to about 10$-15$.Don't raise it to high or they will stop ridingit. The line will go down and then take the pricelow. When the line gets bigger raise it back upagain. Repeat it and you will make a good bit ofmoney.

To get a quick increase of guests, do an advertising campainge for the park. Do it for 6 weeks.

To get a higher park value pay of your loans/debt.

If nobody goes on a ride, ex. the Sslide, delete it and rebuild it. The guest will treat it as a new ride.

As soon as you create or choose a ride, go to the mechanichal part of the ride, there change the inspection to 10 min. Also hire a fair amount of mechanics.

To prevent vomiting assign 1-2 handymen near the exit of an exciting roller coaster. If this doesn't work put benches near the exit so sick people can sit down.

If guests are not going on a ride, do construction and replace the first part of the track. Put the same pieces in, after that re open the ride & guests should go crazy for the 'new' ride. The ride will be popular again. (Just keep doing this if it runs out of popularity again.)

Let guests view other rides while riding and waiting to get on a ride, so they will see other rides and attractions and go to them.

Guests get unhappy if they have to wait in a longline, so put an entertainer there so there waitwill be happier, and/or put some scenery aroundthat line.

Want to draw people back to your park? Put thebiggest and best rollercoaster there to drawpeople back.

Guests not riding? Look at there thoughts about the ride.

Click the shovel/land button. Click the + as high as goes. Then click the grass, and look around the park for grass that is growing. Then just click that place and it will be cut, (use as many times as needed).

When you are playing the game click on thescience thing. Change the speed tomaximum funding. That way you get your ridesfaster and guest are happy!

Drops, speed, banked curves and helixes are whatmake a coaster scary. Inversions, corksrews andin line twists for example, add little to acoaster's freakiness. So when you are happilydesigning Red Rocket (or whatever your coaster iscalled), don't make too many drops and thingswhere as everybody will say regurgitate theirlunch, but put in only a few drops and add asmany inversions as you like.

Tip#1 Always give guests what they want.Otherwise, your park will be filled withvandalism.Tip#2- Provide benches where there are longpaths. This well keep guests happy when they aretired.Tip#3 Assign your staff to work around specificplaces, usually the places where the work isneeded. For Example, place handymen near theexits of big rides.

In most places when you put in a Log Flume it isvery popular, and people will start crowding inthrough the lines. Price them around 3.00 andbring it down as it ages. You will make alot ofmoney off them.

It may seem weird, but drowning an unhappy guestor two can raise your park rating. To drown aguest, make sure your park has a pond or lake. Ifit doesn't, make one. Click on the unhappy guest,click on the tweezer thingin the popup window,and click on a place where there is some water!

In Bumbly Beach (Works in most but Bumbly Beachit does best) Build both Wooden Rodent RollerCoasters and have both of them with very longquire paths. That will bring in a lot of peopleto those rides and then when the quire line isfilled raise the admission price to them to $1.00(if you have admission price to the park if notstill raise it $1.00). You can make a fortune!

Successfully complete all levels to unlock the Mega Park.

Enter Mr.Bean as a guest name. This will makehim drive slower on Go-Karts.

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS CHEAT CODE PERFECTLY. When you start your park Find the guest named GUEST 1, and name him E=MC squared. Then find GUEST 2, and name him E=MC squared. If you do this, one of these two things will happen.NOTE: YOU HAVE TO NAME THE GUSETS LISTED ABOVE THIS OR IT WILL NOT WORK. YOU ALSO HAVE TO PUT THE GUESTS NUMBER AFTER HIS NAME.
